My mom felt that every time she found a white feather, it was a sign from God that He was with her. She lived in the desert and mountains so white feathers were harder to come by than at the beach! My goal was to depict the feather clouds and the beach- her favorite place to visit!
About Catherine Saldana
My first love is God's word.. then comes my husband who inspired me to get painting with an easel right after our daughter was born in 2004 (like I had time:). However, you can find a painting here in my gallery called "Dad's Art" that really started my love of art. As a child, I watched my dad create plein air paintings of places we were visiting and I would try sketching them. Since then, I've gone through many forms of art: twisting wire, knotting macrame, sequinning jeans, weaving pine needles, woodworking, crafting, decorating, quilting, scrapbooking, photography and more.
