God makes such a difference and can make any dark night beautiful with His stars. I would love to see the Northern lights and was inspired to paint them after a trip to Alaska. However, it was not the season to see the Northern lights so I had to be satisfied with painting them.
My first love is God's word.. then comes my husband who inspired me to get painting with an easel right after our daughter was born in 2004 (like I had time:). However, you can find a painting here in my gallery called "Dad's Art" that really started my love of art. As a child, I watched my dad create plein air paintings of places we were visiting and I would try sketching them. Since then, I've gone through many forms of art: twisting wire, knotting macrame, sequinning jeans, weaving pine needles, woodworking, crafting, decorating, quilting, scrapbooking, photography and more.
